School Visits

Bucklebury Farm Park has proven to be extremely popular with many schools in providing group visits for children. We offer special rates to include free places for accompanying adults. The Park provides a wealth of educational visit opportunities, particularly for Primary School children.

As well as being a safe environment in which to learn about animals and nature, the Park provides fun for all our visitors. With our Indoor Play Area and our Adventure Playground, even in bad weather your children can be sure of an enjoyable and educational day out!

We provide: -

Animals and their young - throughout the year we have various baby animals. Learn about the animals, differences between the animals, and differences between adults and their offspring.

Does a baby deer look like its mother?

Wild Walk and Nature Trail - investigate the natural environment and explore the different plants and trees that grow in the Farm Park and observe seasonal changes.

Additional information

We usually recommend that school trip parties are split in to smaller groups when they arrive and then the groups can be rotated between the various activities at the Farm Park. Hand Washing Stations are located throughout the farm and signs displayed to encourage their use. Refreshments are available at the kiosk in the barn and we have a large shaded picnic area.

We have a large carpark, adventure playground and indoor play area. Our toilet facilities have disabled access and a baby changing unit. See our facilities page for a full list.

Many of the schools children that visit send us pictures they have drawn after their visit, and these are displayed on a notice board in the Barn. Bucklebury Farm Park is also working with local schools on projects and exhibitions to be displayed at the Farm Park.
