Throughout the Easter Holidays we will be running our Great Easter Egg Hunt, where children go in search of our Giant Easter Eggs.

We will also be offering lamb feeding where park guests can come and help feed our orphan lambs.

Local tree surgeon and chainsaw woodcarver, Steve Radford will be here demonstrating his skills with his chainsaw and creating beautiful wooden sculptures, taking inspiration from the local fauna.

Birds of prey flying demonstrations with Ray Prior. Ray is one of the leading falconers in the country with a wide selection of beautiful birds for display that will provide an entertaining, educational and awe-inspiring performance.

4 April – Go WILD! with our new poet in residence James Carter

‘WILD!      Calling all you WILD THINGS! Come and meet James Carter, the WILDest poet and guitarist in any town – and that includes the countryside, especially Bucklebury… Hear some zany wildlife poetry and WILD guitar music and then write your very own animal shape poem to take home with you. Family event for 5-555 year olds. One Hour.

HEY, LITTLE BUG!     Calling all you little creatures with your not-quite-so-little parents/carers! Come along for a gentle but minibeastly rhyme time with poet and guitarist James Carter. Expect soothing guitar music and animal riddles and poems from James’ critically-acclaimed poetry collections for the under 7s, including Hey, Little Bug! (Junior magazine’s Book Of The Month) and I’m A Little Alien! (BfK Website’s Book of The Week). 2-6 year olds. Half hour.

In aid of our chosen charity Helen & Douglas House hospice for children. Bring your favourite teddy, go on bear hunt and spot some famous bears.


14 August: Outdoor theatre double bill with The Walking Theatre Company

This unique theatre in the park experience will see a double bill of performances from the exciting Walking Theatre Company. During the day join us for A Wiz Around Oz and in the evening, two performances of Conference of the Faeries, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 25 August: Film in the Park – The Jungle Book (PG) 

Bucklebury Farm Park is delighted to announce an exciting line-up for the summer season. Join us on our journey deep into the Indian Jungle for some family night entertainment with Disney’s all-new  movie The Jungle Book. 17 September: Farm Park closed for private charity event

We are hosting a special day for PACT – Parents And Children Together and so the farm park will be closed to the public on this day but we will re-open as usual on Sunday 18th September.

Come and enjoy the build up to Halloween this half term. We’ve our popular Giant Pumpkin Hunt & Haunted House (£1 entry in addition to farm park ticket price) plus daily face painting to make you look simply spooktastic!

Are you brave enough to journey into the Haunted Forest at night? Suitable for children aged approx 4-10  years. £15 per child One accompanying adult goes free. Additional adults in party at group rate.

  • Craft session in our new woodland yurt to create your own magic Halloween lantern * price includes all materials

Woody’s Cafe will be hosting a special event to help raise funds for our chosen charity the Save the Children Syria Fund.
