Walking Theatre Company comes to Bucklebury Farm Park

The Walking Theatre Company creates interactive innovative outdoor theatre, in forest, woodland, garden or urban path scape and this year their tour includes performances in the magical setting of Bucklebury Farm Park.  The acclaimed WTC creates original high quality professional ‘walking’ theatre to celebrate and promote diverse landscapes, cultural heritage, the environment and healthy living. Midsummer nights dream

‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ (Conference of the Faeries) – 14 August 6pm

The Walking Theatre Company’s adaptation of the Shakespeare classic ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’.

A Father plans a wedding for his daughter, and love is in the air…or is it? The bride-to-be loves another man, and the best Maid loves the Groom!

While Oberon, King of the Faeries, has lost the love of his Queen, mortal and faerie worlds collide, mayhem, magic and fun commence!

Join us for a ‘Hen Party’ like no other! Incorporates Gaelic.

Times: Performance at 6pm.

Practical details: Suitable for all ages, this is an open air event. The performance follows a gentle walk route and lasts approximately an hour and a half. Please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear. The route will make good use of our accessible trails, therefore suitable for prams and wheelchairs – please contact us if you have any concerns regarding accessibility and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Ticket price: £14 (adults) £7 (under-16s).

Wizard of oz

Wiz Around Oz – 14 August 2016 2pm

A brand new adaption of The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy has lost Toto, the Cowardly Lion has lost the Tin Man, the Wicked Witch of the West has lost the Wicked Witch of the East, the Scarecrow has lost the way, and the Great Wiz has lost his marbles!

Munchkins needed to sort it all out!

Times: Performance at 2pm.

I attended the MacBeth performance in Dalmuir park today Sunday the 27th. Weather terrible, but what a wonderful performance, both my wife and myself were astounded and look forward to hearing of more venues.
