Delight in nature throughout the seasons at Bucklebury Farm Park
We have both a nature trail and wild walk to explore during your visit. These woodland trails are filled with birds and other wildlife and there is always something new to see as the seasons change throughout the year. In early spring, we have snowdrops and aconites.
Later on you will spot primroses and bluebells. By late May, the woods are filled with the scent of wild rose and honeysuckle. In June its time to celebrate as the frothy, creamy, elderflower is in full bloom – anyone for elderflower champagne?!
Wild raspberries and then Buddleia follow and with them the butterflies. Autumn is another lovely time as the leaves turn to copper and the crab apples, wild pears and rose hips all ripen.
Even in November and early December, with snow on the ground, there are birds to spot and animal tracks to follow so make sure you bring your wellies and have some fun!
